This project is for every heart living with hard-to-express emotions that deserve to be heard, released, and healed with gentleness and Spiritual insight. This story follows the trajectory of many- a pattern that for some feels like a labyrinth of layers that deserve sorting out so the heart can truly live whole. It offers wisdom and emotional maturity by putting words and analogies to hard-to-explain concepts. Giving voice to the book that has lived within me for some time will hopefully resonate with someone who needs it and will give "wings of freedom" to those who have felt caged by their past. This book was never intended for sales goals; I believe it will find those it's supposed to and the Holy Spirit will accomplish the work for which it is intended.

DESCRIPTION- The book is a beautifully illustrated, contemporary short story designed to gently open conversations with young victims and support the healing of fractured lives through the analogies woven into each chapter. "The Vase" begins as a greatly admired vessel but, over time, loses favor and is set aside. But the Vase gets another chance with someone who still sees its value and beauty, not its wear, brokenness, and fractured exterior. The outer appearance receives cosmetic repair that covers the damaged surface and hides the damage of the past. Over time, the surface repair slowly crumbles away, revealing more serious damage on the inside that requires specialized care. In need of a different approach, the story takes an unexpected turn, and the Vase falls into the capable hands of a very kind, compassionate man with masterful skill that cleanses and strengthens the Vase from the inside. This story helps young readers process difficult situations, find hope, and experience love and safety by trusting the Heavenly Father, who specializes in repairing what's broken and greatly treasures His workmanship.

 

GOAL- Discussion is recommended after each chapter. Next, journaling is recommended: Write out any recognizable parallels from each chapter. This step will help track Spiritual insights, emotional growth, and understanding. The goal is to open hearts so the Heavenly Father can, like "The Vase," repair the hidden inside, which only His masterful gentleness can accomplish.
