For those who yearn for a deeper intimacy with Yeshua, His unique, restored Name becomes a sacred key, unlocking a tumbling cascade of truths our hungry heart knew existed and ached to find. A profound communion begins with Truth; it courts our hearts and leaves us thirsty for more. The Ruach ha Qodesh (Holy Spirit) gently leads, we follow, and we know weâve found Holy ground when we come to know the sacred Names, of the Messiah Yeshua, and YeHoVaH (YHVH) The Heavenly Father, sometimes referred to as, "The Ancient Of Days." A name follows us through time and doesn't change.
CULTURE AND IDENTITY-
A name can be culturally meaningful and defining, even for us. Yeshua canât be stripped of His authentic Name, His culture, and His language and leave us an authentic rendition of Messiah to worship in Spirit and Truth! For instance, let's remove your name, your culture, traditions, and remove your native language and the context of the words in that language, then how much of âyouâ is left to know? Wouldn't you say the very "essence" of YOU has been completely changed, removed, or are you still the same? The enemy knows that this is exactly how to destroy the defining aspects of a person or a national identity. Remove borders, language, culture, change the name, and the former truth and the identity has been completely altered into someone (or something else). His restored Name is such a GIFT! I do not understand why so many BELIEVERS shudder at the thoughts of accepting His authentic Name, especially given the fact that there are so many Scriptures that talk about the power and Sovereignty of His HOLY Name. "Yeshua" means, "Salvation" in Hebrew; "Jesus" does not. PLEASE spend .30 mins of life researching this for yourself.
CULTURIAL DISDAIN-
Those that reject Yeshuaâs authentic Name, His cultural Holy (where the word "holiday" comes from) Feast Days that were established and ordained of His Father, the same folks that absolutely cringe and go nuts when they hear His native language of Hebrew spoken; should they get a pass with, âhe knows my heart?â Yes, He does know the heart. I would ask, is it the Holy Spirit that drives these reactions, or possibly one of a different origin?
We can learn to speak any language in the world, from French, Latin to Swahili, and not be buffeted by an oddly intense, "triggered" response of suspicion of motives, to following a cult! But, speak, learn, or show an interest in learning Hebrew- and the vitriol, ridicule and harsh comments begin to roll out! No one ever says, "why do you want TO BE an, Hispanic, Asian, German, Finn, or Russian, because one is simply interested, or desires to learn those languages. Those that dare show a sincere interest, or learn a few Hebrew words, are often asked, "why do you want to BE Jewish?" WHERE DOES THAT COME FROM? Being able to understand just a few Hebrew words, reveals a monumental amount of proper, and enlightening context to the Scriptures. In many cases it's like the difference between a nightlight and a flood light; the clarity and richness within the Hebrew language is as many would agree, nothing less than a game changer! Why wouldn't we want to explore a language as rich and meaningful as Hebrew, and even more so, since it was the cultural language our Messiah and His ancestors spoke? The FIRST Scriptures were written in HEBREW according to the ancient Torah scrolls. Very well educated translators are flown in when new scrolls are unearthed for translation. Instead of wanting a Jesus that looks and sounds like us (from every nationality the world over), why wouldn't we want to be more LIKE Him in any way possible instead? I'm certain Yeshua's language was not English, and He was not of Anglo-Saxon dissent, like greeting cards and most illustrations depict. We are too close to the end to continue going on with false ideas, and too wise to think it doesn't matter. There's over 6,000 verses in the Bible regarding His Name. Obviously it's important Him, and He warns us in Malichi 2:2, to make it important to us.
Those unaccepting critics of the Restored authentic Name, and/or His cultural customs (Feasts) could possibly be among those who gather before this Bethlehem born, Nazareth raised, same One that (with great candor and righteousness), publicly confronts every stiff-necked, pompous Temple Pharisee in His day and told them they were, "vipers" of the synagogue of satan. Yeshua was not shy when it came to Truth! Are the rejecters of the Hebrew Name possibly numbered among the people spoken of in Matthew 7:23, pleading to be granted entrance to His Kingdom? I can't imagine standing before the Son of Elohim knowing I ardently refused to honor His set apart Name. Are these part of "those" that want to go into His Kingdom when He returns? When Yeshua ushers in His Millennial Kingdom separating His sheep on the right, from the goats on the left, will they truly have the chutzpah to say, âI didnât think Your Name really mattered, or I didn't think Your Name was really that important!?!" As Scripture states, they will say- âLord, Lord didnât I do this, that, and the other in your name?â And He tells them, âdepart from Me, ye workers of iniquity (who did wrong and found pleasure in it), I NEVER KNEW YOU! Ref.- Matt. 7:22 MANY will say to Me on that day, âLord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?â 23- Then I will tell them plainly, âI never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of iniquity (lawlessness)! To me, this is the scariest verse in the Bible because these are deceived BELIEVERS!
The Name has been Restored to our generation because:
- We ARE in the last days
- His SOVERIGN Name holds absolute power and authority
- There's a remnant of believers that takes His Word to heart
- We honor His Word and Name with the highest of esteem,
- We reflect, we looked back in Scriptures, and learned from those in the past that refused to bend the knee to the Truth of our maker!
Questions Of Identity...
If you had a deep relationship with anyone that REFUSED to call you by your name, how would that make you feel? Would you want to continue in that relationship; especially when your name had an intrinsic, deep Spiritual meaning like, "Salvation!"
The most revealing question I would ask is this- Does the heart really love, and hunger for Truth? Does the heart embrace the deeply ingrained traditions of error and men, over BOTH historical and Biblical facts, or does the heart have a willingness to lay down the called-out error, and pick up the set-apart, Holy Name once they learn of it? There's a very important choice to be made here with wisdom and clarity of the seriousness of it; the eternal implications of this choice (I feel) can not be overstated, in light of Matt. 7:22. The Word tells us to "call upon His Name," that we come to Salvation through His Name, to call upon His Name in times of trouble, and that He WILL NOT share His esteem (honor) with ANY other. The Hebrew Name "Yeshua" actually means "Salvation; Jesus does not. There is no other "Name" under heaven by which a man can be saved; so which Name is this referring to? I think we better be certain which Name He wants us using to reference Him. For those gone before us that didn't know of the Name, they are obviously not accountable for rejection of it. For those that DO come to the knowledge of His Name, and still reject it, I think it's very dangerous ground.
Yeshua has a context in which He wants us to know Him- and it is without error; itâs not wise to alter who He is by adding to, or taking away, which Scripture specifically warns against in Deut. 12:22.
There's Safety, Blessing, and Honor given to those who HONOR His Name! Here are 4 Scriptures and there are many, MANY others.
SAFETY- Proverbs 18:10, âThe NAME of the Adoni is like a strong tower, the righteous RUN to it & is set SAFELY on high.â
BLESSING- Malachi 2:2, If you do not hear, and if you do not take it to heart, to give esteem (honor) to MY NAME, said YHVH of hosts,â I shall send a curse upon you, and shall CURSE your berekoth (blessing), and indeed I curse them because you do not take it to heart.â
HONOR-, Malachi 3:16, Then those who feared the Adone (Lord) spoke to one another, and HE LISTENED AND HEARD THEM, and a *Book Of Remembrance* was written before Him for those who feared the Adone and who meditated upon HIS NAME.
RESULT- âAnd they shall be MINE, says the Adone (Lord) of hosts, âin that day when I make them My jewels (treasured possession), I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.â
Itâs easy to see WHY the enemy hid the Name beneath layers of Roman Catholicism, Greek Hellenization, and Jesuit invention. BUT itâs essential to recognize that YeHoVaH Elohim allowed it to happen in order to PRESERVE His Name for the last days' believers. "Jesus" has been profaned seven ways from Sunday by every nation. From cartoon renderings, Broadway shows, and stand-up comics, "Jesus" has taken the ridicule and demeaning of the world for a long LONG, long time. Had His Name been âout thereâ to be used throughout history by the masses, the Names would have become casual, profaned, and blasphemed relentlessly by the minions of darkness, just as it was in the days of old when pagan idolatry was rampant even among the Jews.
Itâs important to understand that His Name has not been hidden FROM us, but hidden FOR us. Hidden and preserved for a people that will keep His Name Holy, set apart, and not profane it, but proclaim it!
It is written, that He will NOT share the honor of His Name with none other, and He has not. He'll remove His Name from our lips and eyes and ears before He let's that happen (just as He's done before). His Name is central and extremely important in ALL realms; seen and unseen. Knowing His Name, accepting use of His Name is a PARADIGM changer! Share it without fear of ridicule. As His people, the Truth is all that ever has, or ever will matter to our soul.

The Hebrew letters are shown here in the ariel view of the topography of Israel. These are the modern Hebrew letters YHVH (Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey), short for YeHoVaH. There are no vowels in Hebrew so the consonants remain. He placed His Name upon the land just as He said He would do in-
2Chronicles 6:6
"But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my Name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel."
JUNE 2021-The letters appear on the wailing wall in Jerusalem. The world is waiting for
the last letter (Hey) to appear.
Ahmein!! This was an amazing Shabbat sharing that you did for the Ladies of Teshuvah. Iâll never forget it.ďżź So much good stuff in here! And I admit that my own mother will not call me by my given name (Rebekah). She wants to call me by a nickname that is not my name. Itâs very disrespectfulďżź. It really hurts. And yes, it is the same with our Messiah. He has a name. Letâs learn it and use it. â¤ď¸ďżź
