🌿 PESACH 2025-

Updated: 10 minutes ago

As many were swirling around the question of "who's the AC," Pappa's people couldn't care less; Pesach season absolutely drowns out the world's stupidity. What an absolute gift for our hearts to have our minds focused (stayed) on who Yeshua IS instead!! I finally have a quiet morning to make a thoughtful post about my Passover Season. Having time to put my Feast thoughts and experiences into words is such a welcomed gift.

šŸ‘ Pesach was intimate and somewhat stoic. I get very tender toward Passover. My mind settles in on the events leading up to, and through the crucifixion. It humbles me to tears and leaves me undone when contemplating Yeshua's betrayal, shaming, and the horrific treatment He endured for mankind in order for us to be restored to the Father. I get totally emmersed in wrapping my head around the atmosphere that must have been thick with spiritual intensity; the Roman soldiers tasked with implementing torture, the late-night conversations of the Sanhedrin to trap an innocent man that challenged their politically sanctioned athority over people, the lambs being slaughtered for the Pesach observance and the smell of alter burning, not to mention their Messiah IN their midst- mostly unaknowledged. His quiet, Holy demeanor was overshadowed by the crowd's roar: "Crucify him!" There's SO-SO MUCH! Anyway, my Pesach was quiet as I prayerfully observed every element of the sacred Covenant meal and thought upon the seriousness and history surrounding it.

šŸ„– ULB was a good week of embracing the ways of Yeshua and the annual, spiritual house-cleaning- a welcomed span of time to withdraw into YHVH's goodness and eat of Yeshua!! I thought of the "I wanna be like Mike (Michael Jordan)" campaign that was so prevalent years ago, especially here in NC since he was from nearby, Charlotte. But I never wanted to be "like Mike." ULB felt like Papa's campaign for His people to be more like YESHUA !! (might make a cool T-shirt).

By Resurrection Day, my heart lifted with thoughts of the total defeat of Satan, and the paradigm change that raising from the grave meant for every believer, from then, to now and beyond. Thoughts of a new, glorious, and eternally complete sacrifice, defeat over wickedness, corruption, darkness, AND the grave! By the next Shabbat, my heart was so ready to celebrate First Fruits.

The day before 1st Fruits, the yard was alive and stunning with Spring blooms, so I joyfully gathered a colorful bouquet for the Shabbat table. I went from spot to spot talking out loud to Pappa Elohim as I admired, smelled, and cut each flower- thanking Elohim for His phenomenal creative beauty and goodness to allow me to weave among them! The neighbors probably think I'm the crazy lady that walks her yard talking to herself.

šŸ½ My First Fruits meal was garden-grown Green Beans, with Green Pepper Steak and Rice. I wasn’t up to baking bread or extravagant desserts, so I enjoyed a little fresh-cut Pineapple and fresh Orange segments.

āœØļøAfter the annual memorial of honoring our roots and properly celebrating being grafted-in to a better Covenant bought by blood, it's time to continue growing in His righteousness, and be the flaming vessels of LIGHT we were created for. After the Pesach Season, we better bear the semblance of Yeshua to embrace the task of carrying our cross for His namesake. We can now stand in authority against the works of the enemy, keeping evil where it belongs- under our feet and forever subdued by the long-reaching shadow of Yeshua’s cross, and the heavy stone that was rolled away!
